I have a good 15 hours on the chipper and I am very impressed. It was packed very well and took a while to unpack it. It is not a complicated assembly and it is much easier for two people to do it. The machine is heavy. Once you get the wheels and tow hook mounted it is much easier to move. It has to be towed to the chipping location. Moving it over a rough area I believe would be almost impossible for one person to do.
I used Mobil synthetic oil which I use in all my machines and vehicles. Fueled it up with 93 octane gas and two pulls and it started. I was amazed how this machine just chews up the wood and brush. I put a couple of 3.5-inch logs just to try it and it just ate them up. I will not be using it for that size because I burn wood. This was a perfect choice for me a homeowner. It cleaned up so much brush in a short time and it will be used now to trim several trees. This is a quality made piece of equipment. Although the price is a bit high it is worth the money from my point of view. It's a hand-me-down for sure.

This machine made quick work of small trees, shrubs, limbs, vines, and branches. Lots of stuff up to 3-1/2". The motor has unbelievable power. Nothing phases it. Blade life and durability won't be known yet, but so far, this thing is a beast! I am extremely happy with it. The Kohler engine starts easily with the manual start and I'm 62.
