POWER IT ON CAT 1 TRACTOR
The 4500 is built for CAT 1 tractors up to 45HP. The frame is ribbed and sturdy to maximize rigidity. Want this chipper but have a CAT 2 tractor with 540/1000 RPM swappable PTO shaft? No problem we also have a CAT 2 frame ready for this chipper.
BELT TRANSMISSION
A belt transmissions is smoother and safer to operate than direct drive options. This transmission runs on a 540 RPM PTO output from the tractor. The size ratio between pulleys elevate the rotor RPMS up to 2,000RPM giving you up to 65 cuts/second.
6-spline CAT 1 PTO shaft is included with the chipper. Expandable from 18 to 33 inches.
HANDY FRAME DESIGN AND ROTOR
The chipper 4500 presents a pivotal half frame which allows a swift checkup of the components prior to operation. The rotor is made of 3/4" steel and sports 2- double edged blades made of A8 specialty steel.
ADJUSTABLE BASE
Skids are adjustable up to 3 inches in height . Beltguard is quickly dettached by 3 knobs. Steel handles.
